A French tradition brought to New Orleans. Tucked inside of each King Cake is a little charm known as a Fève. Originally these charms were a fava bean that then evolved into a wide variety of porcelain figures and then the plastic babies you see today. This Fève is an ode to the past. Made out of porcelain, this baby is made out of mold of a baby excavated from the ground in New Orleans. Find the baby and become King for a day and buy the next King Cake!
